Harvest Moon

Deuteronomy 33: 14-16

WHILE IT’S STILL WARM

AFTER THE STORM

THE LEAVES ARE TURNING RED AND

GOLD AND BROWN

I’VE PLANTED AND SOWED

I’VE WEEDED AND MOWED

AND THERE’S AN OVERFLOWING

HARVEST ALL AROUND

I THOUGHT THE TIME WOULD NEVER COME,

YOU SEEMED ALWAYS ON THE RUN

THEN YOU FINALLY TURN TO LOOK AT ME

AND I AM ALL YOU SEE

NOW WILL YOU MARRY ME

BENEATH THIS HARVEST MOON

I’VE GIVEN ALL THE LOVE I HAVE TO YOU

WILL YOU PLEASE MARRY ME

IT WOULD BE NONE TOO SOON

I’VE WAITED OH SO LONG TO GIVE TO YOU

THIS HARVEST MOON

GATHERING TIME

OH HOW YOU’LL SHINE

ALTOGETHER WHITE AND GOLD AND NEW

YOU WILL BE MINE

IN FULLNESS OF TIME

AND WE’LL ALWAYS BE TOGETHER, FOREVER
